Episode 30: Mesling—"Lovely, Dark and Deep," a One-Act Play

Hoist your glasses, ladies and gentlemen. We proudly give you the 30th episode of The Bare Knuckle Podcast! It's a good one, too. Pete Mesling has sold a one-act play, and we are pleased to give you this opportunity to listen to him read it in its entirety.

Beware: there is some politics included in this episode. Mesling strongly believes that the current political situation is such that it cannot be shied away from, even in an artistic context. The play itself is not overtly political, but the preamble leading up to it is. We make no apologies for that. Scanning past Mesling's introductory remarks or disregarding this episode entirely are always options, but of course we hope you choose to buckle in for the full ride. We all want to make sure we're standing on the right side of history, after all.

And Mesling's play might just scare the pants off of you.
